Our Boma partner network includes people, groups our Boma Circles (community groups and chapters), and organizations working locally and globally to design a more intentional and intelligent human-centered future.

Definitions

Boma Products

Boma is about the network of individuals that are driving change through the Boma connections, Boma thought leadership, the Boma products are just some of the tools in the network to design, educate and drive the change across multiple stakeholders:

  • Boma Cross-disciplinary Summits: Large scale Summits focused on outcomes. Summits are annual bookends to kicking off impact projects in the region.

  • Boma Vertical or Global Challenge Summits: across 3 or more regions that tackle one global challenge or question that build on each other and are committed to impact projects beyond the event. Example: https://www.grow.nz.boma.global/

  • Boma Executive Programs: open enrollment program for transformational change targeting leaders and executives in large or medium-sized organizations

  • Boma Institute: Executive transformation - creating leadership experience and bespoke Boma curriculum for corporations and governments: including courageous leadership, cultural transformation, mindfulness and conscious organizations, exponential organizations, the future of work and workforce retraining.

  • Boma Club: Boma partners invite key people across all Boma stakeholders to join their Boma Club in their region. The Boma is a select and committed group of individuals who dive deep and embrace all the Boma principals to help design a fair and more human-centered future for your region. The Boma Club educates (key researchers and academics) and co-creates with all stakeholders (academics, corporations, governments, policymakers, youth, entrepreneurs, impact organizations and NGO’s) and works together to think about how we both design a more human-centered future and take action. Boma Club includes impact dinners, actions, white papers, book clubs, bespoke events focused on action and outcomes.

  • Boma Community The community is the heart, soul and the engine of all we do at Boma. Anybody can join, organize and participate in Boma community. Anybody can host a Boma community event, identify local voices and innovation, bring people together with opposing points of view and drive change and impact.

Information that You Provide directly to Us.

When you create an Account Profile, start a Circle, create an Event, or apply for a job opportunity on www.boma.global, you contribute certain information to Boma to facilitate your participation in our website’s activities. This includes information such as your name, contact, and location information, date of birth, social media handles, resume, interests, experiences, organizational affiliations, and other information voluntarily submitted through boma.global.

You may opt to limit the sharing of your Profile information. If you create an account through a user profile (such as Facebook, or other social media sites) then your information is sent from your profile to use in accordance with Boma’s privacy policy.

Boma urges its users to consider the sensitivity of any information prior to sharing it publicly or with other users. Others may have access to and or the ability to share this content with third parties. Please note that Boma Global does not control who will have access to the information that you choose to make public, and cannot ensure that parties who have access to such publicly available information will respect your privacy or keep it secure.

Information that Technology Automatically Collects.

Boma uses various standard technologies such as cookie and Google Analytics to manage boma.global.

For example, Chapter pages may pull in content from third party social media websites such as photos, blog posts, or comments. When you visit our website, the operator of a social media plugin may set cookies or other tracking technology on your browser, enabling that social media operator to recognize users who visit our website. WHAT BOMA DOES WITH THE INFORMATION BOMA COLLECTS?

Boma Global uses your information for limited purposes. Boma Global does not sell, transfer, or otherwise disclose to third parties any of the Personal information that we collect from users. However, when you use Boma’s website, certain features allow you to make some of your content accessible to the public or other users of our website.

Provide Services to You.

Boma uses the Personal information to provide certain Services for you, including to create your account, accept new members into Boma’s community, enable community discussion, engage with our members via email, and make decisions about approving Boma Circles. Boma also shares the information you voluntarily contribute with other Boma Global partners, such as country- or region-specific Circles, to aid in recruitment and communication efforts. If at any time you decide that you no longer want to receive communications from Boma Global, you can opt-out by clicking UnSubscribe at the bottom of Boma’s newsletter.

Improve our Users’ Online Experience. Boma uses the information collected through technology to continuously improve its website users’ experience, including collecting data through the use of Google Analytics and other services that help Boma understand what parts of its website are most popular and what parts need to be improved. Boma may use your location information to customize your website experience by modifying the language of our content. Boma also uses this information to protect against use of boma.global that would violate our terms of use and policies, or may otherwise be illegal.

Manage Third Party Service Providers.

  • require the service provider to comply with legal or ethical requirements;

HOW DOES BOMA PROTECT THIS INFORMATION?

Boma Global is a United States-based organization. Our activities originate in the United States but we provide services around the globe. If you provide information to us in compliance with this Privacy Policy, the data is stored and retained in the United States and accessed in different locations, including locations that may have different privacy laws that are applicable. To protect your information and provide you with the best possible user experience, Boma puts in place reasonable physical, technical, and administrative controls to maintain the security and integrity of your data. Please note that no method of information collection or storage on the Internet is 100 percent secure.

OTHER INFORMATION

Data Retention.

Boma retains Personal information only as is necessary for the purpose for which the data was collected. Boma also keeps the information as otherwise required by law.

Processing in the United States.

Please be aware that your Personal information and communications may be transferred to and maintained on servers or databases located outside your state, province, or country.  If you are located outside of the United States, please be advised that we process and store all information in the United States. The laws in the United States may not be as protective of your privacy as those in your location.  By using the Site or Services, you are agreeing to the collection, use, transfer, and disclosure of your Personal information and communications will be governed by the applicable laws in the United States.

Website Not Intended for Children.

Boma does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 16. If you are under age 16, please do not create a user account or provide any Personal information to Boma Global. If you are a parent or legal guardian who discovers that your child under age 16 has provided us with any Personal information, please contact us at info@boma.global and Boma will promptly delete such information.

Accessing and Updating your Information.

To see the information that www.boma.global retains about you, please visit your profile page at https://boma.global/. To update or delete this information, please select “Edit Profile” once you have logged into the site.

Deactivating Your Account.

To deactivate your account, please contact us info@boma.global. When your account is deactivated, Boma will delete your account information.

Updates to the Privacy Policy.

Boma will notify you to explain any material updates or changes to this Privacy Policy via the email address you have provided to Boma. It is your responsibility to ensure that the email address Boma has on file is current.
